Golden Wax 494 is the world's most popular soy melt wax, and for good reason! Produced by wax giant AAK, who also produces GW464, this wax outperforms all the other soy melt blends that we have tried with excellent mould release, depth of colour and scent loading. GW494 is highly stable and is delivered in flake form, making it ideal for low- to medium-volume makers.
Usage recommendations
- Fragrance load: up to 10%
- Melting point: 52 - 58°C
- Fragrance addition temperature: 70 - 75°C
- Pouring temperature range: 65 - 75°C
- Avoid pouring if the temperature is lower than 60°C
