Perfumer's alcohol is a skin-friendly dilutant designed to dilute both essential oils and fragrance oils. Ideal for perfume making, as well as room and linen sprays, it acts as the perfect perfume mixer while helping the final solution remain clear and cloudless. Suitable for both hobbyists and experienced home fragrance makers, perfumer's alcohol is versatile and easy to use. We recommend adding 10–20% fragrance oil for reed diffusers and 5–10% for room sprays. However, always refer to the individual product description and IFRA certificate of your chosen fragrance oil for maximum safe usage levels. In reed diffusers, perfumer's alcohol provides excellent fragrance throw, although it can evaporate quickly (typically within 1–2 weeks), especially when used with fibre reeds. To reduce evaporation and extend diffuser life, we recommend using rattan reeds or blending with a vegan diffuser base. Please note that perfumer's alcohol has a very low flash point, meaning flammable vapours may be present at room temperature. Always use in a well-ventilated area and keep away from all sources of ignition. The density of perfumer's alcohol is 0.79 g/cm³, compared to 1.06 g/cm³ for Augeo® and Ecosystem Vegan Friendly Diffuser Base. For reference, water has a density of 1.00 g/cm³. This means that 500ml of perfumer's alcohol weighs approximately 395g, while 5 litres weighs around 3.95kg. Shipping Restriction: This product cannot be shipped to Sweden.
