Wax
Candle Shack Apricot & Coconut wax is a hybrid container blend containing Soy, Coconut, Apricot and Mineral waxes. This wax brings the best of both worlds, combining the stability and hot throw of mineral wax, with a carefully curated mixture of plant waxes, to improve the burning performance and aid melt pool formation. With a melting point around 50C, this blend is also suitable for use in warmer climates.

Usage Recommendations
- We recommend working at an ambient temperature between 15 and 25°C.
- Heat wax to approximately 80°C until fully melted.
- Add fragrance oil at 65 to 75°C, using a fragrance load of 8 to 10%, and stir gently for around 60 seconds.
- Pour into containers at 65 to 75°C. Containers should be clean and at room temperature.
- If the surface is uneven once the candle has set, lightly flash the top with a heat gun or apply a small top-up pour to achieve a smooth finish.
- Allow candles to cure at ambient temperature. For wick testing, a minimum curing time of 48 hours is recommended.
- For optimal scent throw, cure for 7 to 14 days before burning.
Disclaimer
Each report shows test results for a set of candles made by Candle Shack’s R&D team for that particular recipe. The test reports are not a guarantee that all candles made to the recipe will burn in exactly the same way. Variables such as ambient temperature, air flow, or the manufacturing process can affect the burning profile of a candle, so it is recommended that candle makers conduct their own testing to ensure that they are satisfied with the performance of their product.
