What's it made from: Our innovative packaging is made from agricultural by-products and mycelium (mushroom roots) grown especially to create the ultimate protective shield for your 30cl Lotti candles. Agricultural byproducts are sourced directly from regional farms and combined with mycelium (the roots of mushrooms - which grow exponentially given the right conditions) to create these boxes. By reusing agricultural waste - like the woody core of hemp - we can ensure that the product remains fully natural. 

The process: The Mushroom Sustainable Packaging takes about 6 days to grow in a fully natural process. First, the design and mould to ensure the mycelium mixture is grown into the right shape. The mushroom root mixture is grown for 4 days in the mould with a further two days outside the mould. They're then dried and ready for use! 

The result: The result is a direct replacement for cardboard and plastic packaging. You'll get a vegan, highly protective, odour-free and sustainable alternative to traditional packaging materials that won't cost the planet. Not only is the product eco-friendly but it's been temperature tested, drop-tested and transit tested. It also repels moisture, ensuring your candles stay safe and dry even in damp conditions.
